How to Reset the Service Light on a Toyota RAV4

To reset the service light on a Toyota RAV4, insert the key and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Set the display to the total odometer (ODO) using the dedicated button.

Turn off the instrument panel, then press and hold the trip reset button. While holding it down, turn the ignition back on without starting the engine.

Keep holding until a series of dashes or a countdown appears on the display that reaches zero. At this point, release the button: the maintenance light should be reset.

Turn off and on the ignition to check that the light is no longer present.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
