Removing the rear light on the second series Toyota Yaris is a fairly simple task that should not require professional assistance with a bit of manual skill. Open the boot, and at the location of the light to be removed, there will be a small plastic cover; this will be secured by clips, and you just need to lever it off with a screwdriver. Once the cover is removed, you will have access to the back of the light where two 10 mm fixing nuts will be visible that need to be unscrewed. This will leave the light secured to the car only by plastic hooks, so it will be sufficient to lever around its perimeter to detach it from the vehicle. At this point, only the power connector will remain, which, once disconnected, will allow you to completely remove the light from the car. If you wish to recover the bulb holders, these can be detached from inside the light, allowing the removal of the entire wiring.
