Replacing the External Handle on a Toyota Corolla

Let’s look at replacing the external handle on a Toyota Corolla. Open the door and start disassembling the door panel. Remove the internal handle along with the switch panel, then detach the cover under the opening lever and unscrew the screws. Detach the door panel. Locate the screws that need to be removed to access the handle. Unscrew the screws located on the inner side of the door (as shown in the video). Detach the left or right cover of the handle, then slide the handle towards the area where the cover or cylinder is missing. Remove the damaged handle and fit the new piece. Refit all the covers of the door.
