Do you want to replace the manual gear knob on a Toyota Corolla? Here’s how to do it: unscrew the knob by hand and remove it from the gear lever. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the gear gaiter frame located on the centre console.

For reassembly: fit the leather gaiter at the bottom of the knob along with the frame and screw the new knob down until it is fully threaded onto the lever. Finally, test the movement of the lever on the centre console to ensure the correct fitting of the knob and leather gaiter.
