This video tutorial shows how to remove and replace the gear knob of the third series Toyota Corolla automatic, following the instructions below. First, get in the vehicle and start by unscrewing the gear knob counterclockwise to remove it; then remove the plastic side cover of the centre console to access the lower part of the lever. At this point, refit everything and insert the new gear knob, this time screwing it in clockwise; tighten it well to prevent the knob from unscrewing during driving.
