To replace the number plate bulb on a Toyota Corolla, open the boot to access the internal rivets. Remove these rivets to shift the carpet, allowing you to disconnect the bulb connector and remove the bulb itself.

You can now replace it with a new spare part and reinsert it into its housing. After installing the new bulb, refit the carpet using the previously removed rivets.
