Repairing the Heating Control Board of a 2005 Toyota Highlander

The video shows how to repair the heating control board of a 2005 Toyota Highlander. This task can be done without visiting a mechanic. First, remove the radio and the HVAC control head. Unscrew the screws from the back of the rear control panel and remove it, taking care to also disconnect the ribbon cable connecting the board on the rear panel to the control board. Remove the heating control knobs and the nuts from all switches with damaged wires. Remove the switch and the soldered wire parts from it. Also cut the other end of the ribbon to have a new end to solder to the circuit board on the switch. Solder the ribbon wires. Reverse all assembly operations as described earlier.
