The air filter on the Toyota Avalon is accessed directly from the engine compartment, not from the cabin. By opening the hood, you will find a large black container, where - by opening three clips - you can access the filter positioned horizontally, making it very accessible. With the same ease as when you removed it, reinstall it, ensuring that the shaped part aligns with that of the container, which you should have cleaned of any accumulated dirt, unlike what the YouTuber did. Close the three clips, and the job is done.
