How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Light on the Toyota Prius

This guide will explain the procedure to reset the tyre pressure light for the Toyota Prius. You will need the following tools: a pressure gauge, a digital compressor with an internal ideal pressure detector for inflating tyres, and possibly the instruction manual to check the factory parameters. The steps to follow are: 1. Check the pressure of each tyre with a pressure gauge and ensure there are no damages or air leaks; 2. Compare the current tyre pressures with those stated in the car's instruction manual. If you do not have the manual at hand, simply inflate the tyres to a pressure of 33 PSI; 3. Start the instrument cluster and check if the light is still present after these actions. If the light is no longer present, the procedure has been successful. If the light is flashing, there may be an electronic issue, and you will need to check the battery and/or alternator and possibly replace them. If the light remains but is steady, a visit to a specialist workshop will be necessary.
