How to Replace the Rear Light on a Toyota Auris

Changing the rear light on your Toyota Auris is not a difficult job. Locate the hidden cap in the boot trim. Underneath, there is a compartment that provides access to the wires, connectors, and screws holding the light assembly in place. Pull out the wires, remove the connectors, and identify the screws securing the light unit. There are two: the first is a large central screw, from which you will remove the nut. The other is at the top of the light unit, higher up, and is a bit more difficult to reach. Again, remove the nut here. Now you can take out the light unit to be replaced and repeat the process in reverse for installing the new light unit.
