To change the gearbox oil of a Triumph Speed 400, start by positioning the motorcycle on a flat and stable surface, using a center stand or side stand to ensure it is well balanced. Locate the gearbox oil drain plug, usually located on the bottom of the engine. Before unscrewing the plug, place a basin underneath to collect the used oil. Loosen the plug with a suitable wrench and let the oil drain completely. Once all the oil has drained out, screw the drain plug back in, making sure it is securely tightened. Next, fill the gearbox with the specified new oil for your Triumph Speed 400 through the dedicated opening. Once the filling is complete, make sure to check for any leaks and ensure everything is properly closed before starting the motorcycle again.
