Video tutorial

In this tutorial, you will see how to change the engine oil in the Triumph Daytona 675, a very simple and quick operation to be carried out every 12 months. First, wait until the engine is cool enough, then position a container underneath the bike, locate the drain plug at the front of the engine, and unscrew it using a 13mm socket.

Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, unscrew the old filter, and tighten both the replacement and the plug. At this point, simply pour in the new oil through the top hole.

How to Remove the Rear Wheel of the Triumph Tiger 800

To remove the rear wheel of the Triumph Tiger 800, loosen the nuts located in the centre of the wheel that secure the central axle to the end of the swingarm. Once these two nuts are removed, unscrew the bolts that secure the rear brake caliper, detaching it from the disc; you will also need to move the chain from the corresponding sprocket. When all these components have been removed, it will be possible to completely detach the wheel, allowing you to insert a new replacement part, reassembling all previously removed components.
