To change the engine oil of a Triumph Sprint ST 1050, start by parking the motorcycle on a flat surface and using a center stand or side stand to lift and stabilize it. Make sure the engine is cold to avoid burns. Place a container under the engine to collect the used oil. Remove the oil drain plug located under the engine. Use a suitable wrench to loosen and unscrew the plug, being careful of the oil flowing into the container below. Let the oil flow completely until it stops. Once the oil flow has stopped, replace the drain plug and tighten it securely. At this point, access the oil filler hole, which is usually located on the top of the engine. Use a funnel to pour the new engine oil through this hole. Fill up to the recommended level, as indicated in the motorcycle owner's manual. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to allow the oil to circulate and distribute evenly. Turn off the engine and check for leaks around the drain plug. If necessary, add more oil to reach the correct level. Finally, dispose of the used oil properly, following local regulations for recycling.
