Before we can start, we will have to go and position our Triumph Thruxton in an upright position, with the help of a motorcycle stand. To better drain the engine oil, it is advisable to run the motorcycle for a few minutes. Let's start by unscrewing and removing the lower oil drain nut, thus letting the oil flow out. Next, we will have to screw the bottom nut back on. Once this is done, we will have to go and unscrew the top filler cap. At this point, using a funnel, we will have to insert the new engine oil, then screw the filler nut back on, and we will have completed the replacement.
