How do I change the engine oil on my Triumph Trident 660?

In order to replace the engine oil of the Triumph Trident 660 you need to unscrew the oil tank drain plug, which is located in the lower part of the bike, in front of it. Once the cap has been unscrewed, it will be possible to collect the oil in a suitably positioned container until it has completely escaped. It will now be possible to close the drain plug and remove the oil filter located above it. After replacing the filter, it will therefore be possible to top up by inserting the new oil in the upper part of the crankcase on the right side of the motorcycle.

How to change the engine oil of Derbi Fds

Let's find out below the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Derbi Fds. First of all, we put the stand on our bike and start to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find under the engine; let the old oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and carry out the new top up; we use the oil with the right characteristics, finally checking the oil level using the dipstick!
