How to reset error code 01 on a Kymco scooter?

Sometimes it can happen that, after a breakdown in the injection system, the error code 01 continues to appear on the dashboard of our Kymco scooter even though the fault has already been repaired. This often prevents us from starting our vehicle, so it is important to know how to reset this warning light ourselves, without going to the mechanic.

The author of the video shows us how to do it. After placing the scooter on the center stand, it is necessary to switch the ignition switch to "RUN", turn on the instrument panel and wait 10 seconds. After this time, turn the throttle handle completely and hold it for another 10 seconds, then release it and wait for the engine light to illuminate twice in a row after about 5 seconds.

The light is now reset.

How to Replace the Clutch on a Kymco Downtown 125?

To replace the clutch on the Kymco Downtown 125, loosen the screws that secure the cover located on the left side of the bike, near the rear wheel. Once the screws are loosened, remove the cover to access the components underneath: the clutch at the rear can be removed by unscrewing the fixing screws and sliding out all the discs that make it up. At this point, insert the new replacement part, reposition the drive belt, and cover everything with the cover.
