To replace the rear wheel of the Italjet Torpedo 50 4t, use a screwdriver to remove the protective cap; then, using pliers, pull out the split pin and remove the protective cover. Insert a stick between the spokes of the wheel, passing it behind the shock absorber to prevent the wheel from turning. Support yourself at the rear of the scooter and use your foot to leverage the spanner to loosen the bolt (press slowly but progressively); after removing the nut, loosen (without removing) the Allen screws that hold the exhaust (move the exhaust 4-5 cm to extract the deflated wheel). In the video, the wheel had never been removed, and it was necessary to shake it vigorously (if the wheel is deflated, it comes out without removing the exhaust). When fitting the new inflated tyre, it won't fit, so position it with the deflated tyre (inflate it to a pressure of 2.3 bar). If you have two people, one should hold the scooter partially tilted while you fit the wheel (otherwise, rest it on a wall); with the scooter tilted, it is easier to loosen (not remove) the screws of the exhaust manifold. Use a socket spanner to loosen one of the two screws of the manifold, as it passes over the curve of the exhaust, while a simple socket spanner suffices for the other screw (without removing the exhaust). With the exhaust mounted but the screws loosened, the wheel fits easily (before remounting the wheel, apply grease to the axle, then tighten the nut, replace the protective cover, reinsert the split pin, and replace the protective cap).
