Let’s see how to bring back the shine to very damaged scooter plastics. After trying all possible restoration methods with unsatisfactory results, our YouTuber opted for painting, which was the only method that could yield satisfactory results. First, thoroughly wash and degrease each piece, even twice (this is essential). Then, apply a coat of primer that allows the paint to adhere to the plastic. It is crucial that this primer does not dry too much; otherwise, the paint will not adhere properly: 20 minutes is sufficient. Next, apply a very light first coat of paint that is not fully opaque, and after a few minutes, when the first coat is dry, you can apply a second coat that is a bit more opaque. Be careful not to create runs; it’s better to apply multiple thin coats.
