In this video, we see how it is possible to replace the battery in the wheel sensor of a motorcycle. It is a common CR2032 battery, but with pins to be soldered. First, we need to remove the battery, so we will need a cutter to remove the sensor cover. Removing the battery will not be easy because it is secured with adhesive (as well as being soldered). We can find this type of battery on E-bay with the code 334912587186 at a price of 1.90 euros + 2.90 euros for shipping. Since we already have the positive tab, we cut the one from the battery. We will need soldering paste; we place the paste on the two pins, then with solder and soldering iron we solder the part. Remember that the entire top part is positive, so if you touch the bottom part, you will short circuit! We measure with a tester both the positive and negative, and with sealing paste, we rebuild the cap that we had to remove to access the battery. All that remains is to reassemble the sensor on the wheel.
