Today we will explain how to remove the interior rearview mirror of the car and replace it. To perform this operation, we must first remove the plastic coverings of the mirror by moving them from bottom to top after removing the covers we unscrew the screw at the base of the mirror to remove the outer cover and facilitate its removal reconnect the connector and then remove the mirror from the base. Now we can purchase a new mirror with dimming and install it by following the reverse procedure or simply replace the mirror glass. In case you decide to replace the glass, we must insert a flat-tip screwdriver between the cover and the mirror to remove it, being careful not to damage the clips and the connector. Once the mirror is removed, we insert the new glass by connecting the automatic dimming connector and inserting it inside, then we can mount it back on the car.
