How to Change a Car Mirror

Is the external rear-view mirror broken and you don't know how to remove it? Let's see how to change it from its housing. Use a plastic-coated lever to pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror itself. Pry until the rear-view mirror glass detaches (this is a delicate operation as the glass or cover may break). Once the damaged mirror glass is removed, disconnect the power connector if present. Press on the locking clips to disconnect the mirror cover. Replace the damaged part with the new one. Ensure the clips engage properly. Glue the new mirror onto the plastic mirror holder.
