Removing the Car Rear-View Mirror

Is the car rear-view mirror damaged? Remove it from above the mirror and replace it. You can also repair it. Pry between the edge of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Keep prying until the glass separates from the mirror (disconnect the power cable if present).

Finally, fit the new mirror: ensure the plastic clips snap into the mirror supports. Glue the mirror if it has come away from the plastic base that attaches above the mirror.

Secure the mirror base at the end of the installation.
