In case our car still has a mechanical handbrake, we can see in this video how to correctly install the cable for it. The cable must pass through the appropriate sliding hole, be inserted into the mechanism, and with the help of pliers, insert the end of the cable into the appropriate ring that holds its initial part. After doing this, we must bring out the part that goes to the lever by pulling it out of the body between the two seats and connecting it to the lever: we must also adjust the force of the lever by tightening the adjustment screw, so that the lever does not have more than three clicks when we pull it up.
