The problem of heat on the electrical cables of the headlights on older cars.

As we can see in the video, in cars that are of a certain age, or after an upgrade to higher power LED lights without adapting the system, the heat literally cooks the rubber insulation of the electrical cables, and as shown in the video, the materials crumble, crack, and become fragile. This process is accelerated in cars that make long journeys at night. When the insulation breaks, the exposed wires can touch each other, creating a short circuit. This can cause the headlight to turn off or a fuse to blow. The positive wire can touch a ground (the metal body of the car) causing the same problem. In the worst case scenario, enough heat can be generated to melt the cables or start a fire. In the case we have seen, the only solution is to change the entire headlight.
