How to manually reset the vehicle's check engine light.

To manually reset the engine light, we need to turn off the vehicle and pull the hood release lever. Once the hood is open, we should position ourselves in front of it to perform the operation. Using a 10 mm wrench, we unscrew the connector of the negative battery terminal and wait for 10 seconds. After the necessary time has passed, we reconnect the negative terminal and turn on the instrument panel. After carrying out this procedure, the warning light should be reset when the panel is turned on; if not, it will be necessary to go to an authorized workshop for a thorough check using a scanner.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
