How to reset the engine warning light without a computer

In today's tutorial video, you will see how to reset the engine warning light without the aid of special tools or equipment such as a diagnostic tool, on a generic car; note that this procedure may not work on newer vehicles. To reset the engine warning light, simply disconnect the negative terminal of the battery; to do this, open the bonnet and unscrew the nut of the terminal (usually with a 10 mm spanner). At this point, keep the battery disconnected for about ten minutes, so the ECU resets; then check the reset of the warning light!

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
