When changing the air filter of a vehicle, when fitting a sports one, a tube is left over: this is used to recover oil vapours, which are then reintroduced into the air circuit. So what should we do with that tube? We have two options: either leave it open and fit a small filter at the end (which will filter the outgoing air to prevent any smells from returning into the cabin). The second option is to connect the tube to a small oil vapour recovery tank, which will need to be periodically removed and properly disposed of.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
