Replacing the glass on an external rear-view mirror of any vehicle is a simple and quick operation that can be done independently. First, place a microfiber cloth on the mirror cap to avoid scratching during removal.

Insert a flathead screwdriver into the cap and apply pressure to the glass outward. Disconnect the connector and insert the new mirror into the cap, connecting the connector first.
