How to Change the Glass on a Wing Mirror

Do you want to change the damaged glass of the external mirror? Here’s how to remove the glass and fit the new one. Pry between the edge of the mirror frame and the glass. Continue prying until the glass detaches from the mirror (disconnect the power cable). Remove the mirror cover if you need to replace it or work inside the mirror. Finally, fit the new glass, ensuring the plastic clips engage properly. If the glass is severely damaged, remove it from the mirror and glue the new one onto the plastic.
