The coolant temperature sensor is a small yet important component located within the engine bay. Its primary function is to maintain the reliability and efficiency of the engine, preventing severe and unexpected overheating. After a certain number of miles, it is necessary to replace it, especially if you notice malfunctions or failures. To do this, ensure the engine is off and the temperatures are low. Lift the front bonnet and locate the alternator at the front. Just below it is the sensor. Disconnect the connector and remove the screw. At this point, simply extract the old sensor and replace it with a new one. Refit the screw you removed earlier and reconnect the connector.
