In this description and related video, measure and adjust the valve clearance. First, rotate the crankshaft pulley and align the groove with the zero point. Then, ensure that the marks on the camshaft gears for the inlet and exhaust are in a straight line. Check the clearance of the inlet valves for the first and second cylinders and the exhaust valves for the first and third cylinders using a feeler gauge, and adjust if out of specification. Next, rotate the crankshaft pulley a full turn clockwise and align it again at the zero point. Then, check the inlet valve clearance for the third and fourth cylinders and the exhaust valves for the second and fourth.
