Part: Valve
Operation: What are the reasons why the engine valves break.

Let's see some theory, always interesting: how come the valves of our engine, whether they are intake or exhaust, break? Let's see the cold adjustment. (where possible) which has a tolerance. If the "air gap" is not respected, that is the distance between the tip and the upper part of the valve, the "pointing" takes place, that is the valve remains slightly open. If it is suction it loses power. If it is exhausted, it runs the risk of getting burned. This is what happens even if we have the hydraulic tappets, only instead of the air gap we will have the cup full of oil. The spring can also negatively affect operation: if it is incorrectly mounted, the tip will inevitably break. Let's see what happens in the process. If the valve seat is not correctly assembled, it will wear out sooner on one side than on the other with serious damage. Or the poorly made grinding where the valve guide is too wide can cause oil to leak into the valve. On the other hand, too tight will cause it to seize. Let's see the damage of wear. If the plates are worn they will damage the valve head, break the interlocking part of the valve. If the valve head is worn, the rocker arm that weighs on it equally will break it. Excessive pressures in the combustion chamber will lead to wear on the part of the seal. The high temperatures in the combustion chamber also make the valves suffer, especially the exhaust ones.
