Let's see how to repair a broken bumper. The operation is done with a very flexible black plastic filler. First, shape the piece with a heat gun. Work on one piece at a time, ensuring the pieces fit together without protruding. Work from the reverse side. Sand it down well, then apply metal points with a stapler, which you can find on Amazon for £48 (including shipping), then place a plastic mesh - which can also be a flyscreen - and a two-component resin costing £15, also on Amazon. As our YouTuber suggests, it's worth doing this job because bumpers are expensive. This serves as a base for the filler. Now, from the front side, level it with coarse grit. Apply the filler following the YouTuber's instructions. When dry, use 80-grit sandpaper to restore the original line. The plastic filler can be found on Amazon, called IVAT KFS, costing £12. After sanding, if there are small imperfections, you can apply metal filler (but they must be small). Then use 80-grit first, followed by 120-grit for a smooth finish. Then use 240, 320, and 400 with a drill. Finish with 600 by hand and then apply a primer. It's best to use a black primer. Allow it to dry thoroughly, then repaint.
