Operation: Three types of problems that could arise on the brake pedal.

There are three types of problems that may arise with the brake pedal: the first is that the pedal suddenly becomes very hard. In this case, the problem is with the brake booster, because the hoses or the vacuum pump are broken and the diaphragm no longer works. The consequence is that the brake pedal has become a wall, even though the car still brakes. Another problem is that the pedal no longer holds, it goes to the end of its travel. In this case, it could be a faulty brake pump or a leak of oil from the flexible hoses. The first check is to see if there is a leak (which is very dangerous). The last possible problem is that when you brake, the pedal is long and soft, and then it returns to its original position. This means that an air bubble has formed in the system, so it is necessary to bleed the brake system, including the ABS.
