In this video, you will learn something very useful: how to check the functionality of the brake booster. You will need a stopwatch or a clock to make the measurement. With the engine off, release the vacuum accumulated in the brake booster by pressing the brake pedal several times. Then press the brake pedal, maintaining constant pressure. Start the engine and check that the pedal sinks slightly. Run the engine for a couple of minutes and then stop it. Now check that, by pressing the pedal with the same pressure, the resistance of the pedal increases each time. To check the air tightness of the brake booster, there is another method. With the engine running and a clock, keep the brake pedal pressed with constant pressure. With the pedal still pressed, stop the engine and after 30 seconds check that the remaining travel of the brake does not change.
