How to Replace the Alternator Pulley?

To replace the alternator pulley on a car, you need to completely remove the alternator from its housing by unscrewing the bolts that secure it in place and disconnecting the connectors; once the alternator has been removed from its housing, you can use a pneumatic gun or a socket wrench to loosen the central nut of the corresponding pulley. Once this nut is loosened, the pulley can be detached from the alternator, and you can then fit the new one: this should be securely fastened by reinstalling the nut.
