How to renew scratched alloy wheels with little expense.

To do the restoration work on our rims, we will need sandpaper in various grits: 400-600-800-1000-2000-5000. We will also need bodywork paper tape, fine grit abrasive paste, and cotton discs (makeup ones will work fine). First, we apply the paper tape to define the area to be treated. We wet the area and start with the coarsest grit, keeping the area moist. Then, we gradually move to finer grits, always keeping the area moist and drying it with a soft cloth. After using the 5000 grit, we are ready to apply the abrasive paste with the cotton discs. We clean it with a cloth, and the result is truly excellent.
