In this video we see where to find the legal chassis number, that is the one stamped in an unremovable way on the frame itself of the vehicle. We all know that the plate found on the driver's side, at the bottom of the windshield, is nothing more than a courtesy plate, which serves only to move the cars until they have the license plate. As for the plate (usually metal) found on the thickness of the driver's door and which contains, in addition to the extended chassis number, also the color codes of the body and interior, it is nothing more than an identity card placed by the Manufacturer to complete the construction. In the case of our Daily Maxivan, we find the legal chassis number on the longitudinal beam of the right front wheel and starts with ZCP; the engine number is instead found on the base of the same, in front of the passenger.
