Are Ingenium engines reliable?

The Ingenium engines, despite being around for 8 years, are still considered unreliable. The reality is that only in the first two years of commercialization, from 2016 to 2018, the engines had issues such as clogging of the diesel filter, premature deterioration of engine oil, and premature wear of the timing belt. In the following years, changes were made that made the engine one of the best in Italy and abroad. In fact, modifications were made to the tightening nuts of the timing belt to make it more solid. The oil lubricates the engine and timing belt well thanks to improvements made to the system.
