Here’s how to replace the remote key battery on your vehicle. Take a small screwdriver and pry open the back of the remote (where the ring is). At this point, detach the back cover to access the battery compartment.

Using the small screwdriver, carefully lift the battery out of its housing. Then, take the new battery (check the type) and place it in the housing, ensuring the positive terminal is facing upwards.

Finally, reattach the back cover to the key.
