How do you reset the engine light?

In order to reset the engine light of the car, there is no single procedure, as this light signals generic anomalies and could be on for various reasons: one of the first things you can do is to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and leave it disconnected for about 10 minutes. If this is not enough, you will need to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle and check which errors are detected by the scanner: by acting on these damaged components, it will be possible to permanently make the light disappear.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
