The engine light is a very important indicator for diagnosing problems in a timely manner to avoid more serious issues. The engine light can be flashing or steady, and it should be checked very carefully.

One reason the light may come on is a malfunction in the fuel system due to poor quality fuel. Most of the time, resolving the issue will simply require topping up with better fuel.

Another reason that can trigger the engine light is a low engine oil level. To resolve this issue, which may have been caused by deteriorating oil seals, simply replace them.

A faulty crankshaft position sensor can also trigger the engine light, preventing the engine from starting. In this case, it must be replaced.

How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on a Kia Rio?

The tyre pressure warning light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Kia Rio can be reset by inflating the tyres until they reach the recommended pressure value: this value is indicated on the sticker affixed to the driver's door pillar. Once all tyres have been inflated to the recommended pressure, turn on the ignition to check that the light has disappeared: if it is still present, it may be necessary to drive for a few miles, allowing the sensors to work and thus turning off the light.
