Removing the Door Panel of a Volkswagen Tiguan

Remove the door panel of a new model Volkswagen Tiguan (passenger side). Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Use a lever or screwdriver to remove the handle cover, then unscrew the screws underneath. Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Disconnect the wiring for the window lifter, the speaker located in the handle, and the tension cable for the door opening lever. Finally, grasp the panel and lever it off the door. Refit everything by reversing the steps.
