How do you deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Golf?

In order to deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Golf, the first thing you need to do is turn on the instrument panel and then press the button located at the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel to open the menu on the odometer display. Here you can find the "Lane Assist" option, and then you can press the "OK" button on the steering wheel to activate or deactivate it by checking or unchecking the box. Once the system has been activated or deactivated, you can turn off the instrument panel.
