In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the external rearview mirror in the Volkswagen Tiguan, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we open the door in which we will work, then we remove the internal panel by removing the window lifter console and unscrewing the relevant fixing screws. We then disconnect the connector of the adjustment motor, unhook the indicated rubber cap and unscrew the bolt just released using a 10mm XZN key. At this point, we can remove the mirror from the door and install the replacement if necessary.
