Today's information will allow us to disassemble and replace the coolant thermostat of the Volkswagen Golf 1.4. First, we open the hood of the car and start disconnecting the coolant pipe, letting it drain into a container; then we unscrew the fixing screws of the thermostat, using a socket wrench, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove and replace the component with the new original one, reassembling it correctly; finally, we just need to top up with the new antifreeze coolant!
