How to remove the rear tailgate trim of the Volkswagen Tiguan

Today we will discover the instructions that allow us to disassemble and replace the inner panel of the rear tailgate of the Volkswagen Tiguan. First of all, we open the rear tailgate of the trunk and start unscrewing all the fixing screws we find on the tailgate panel and handles; we remove the plastic side pillars, as shown in the video. At this point, we lever on the sides of the panel to detach and remove it, thus accessing the trunk lock and the windshield wiper motor (as well as the third brake light); we apply the reverse process for reassembly!
