Guide to replacing the trunk lock of the Volkswagen Tiguan

In this guide, we will see the main instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the trunk lock of the Volkswagen Tiguan. First, we open the rear hatch of the trunk and start removing the plastic interior trim, unscrewing the fixing screws; then we unscrew the two side screws of the lock and disconnect the electrical wiring, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove the trunk lock, replacing it with the new one or repairing it; we make the electrical connection and finally reassemble the trunk hatch trim!
