Replacing the Tailgate Lock on the Volkswagen Tiguan

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the tailgate lock on the Volkswagen Tiguan. First, open the tailgate and start removing the plastic inner panel; to do this, remove the various covers and unscrew the fastening screws found inside using a Torx screwdriver, as shown in the video. Once the tailgate panel is removed, unscrew the lock screws, disconnect the electrical connector to remove it, and replace it with the new one; then refit everything!
