Replacing the battery of your Volkswagen Golf Mk5 key is really simple and thanks to the steps described in the following guide, you will be able to complete the procedure without difficulty. Before starting, make sure you have a flathead screwdriver and a new CR2032 battery, then separate the upper part of the cover from the lower part and use the physical emergency key to access the exhausted battery. Once you have located the battery, use the flathead screwdriver to remove it and replace it with the new one. Finally, reassemble the key correctly and you're done.
